For professional reasons, I was rummaging around on the web, looking for original 404 page layouts.
I find it always funny when web designers take time to give a little attention to them.
Normally when websites are properly built, you will probably never run into them (unless you make some mistakes in their links – on purpose).
Underneath you can find a few of screenshots. I just hope that all these web designers are not thinking that they have a lot of broken pages.
Whenever I run into some new nice ones I’ll add them to this list.
Ayn Rand is definitely one of my personal heroes …
The philosophy she supports is called “objectivism“.
Loved her book “Atlas Shrugged” where she explains this theory.
Just finished reading Jackals, a manga story illustrated by Kim Byung Jin (same illustrator of Chonchu).
Somehow, for some strange reason, I like bloody / cruel (black/white) manga’s.
Jackals is about a hero (Nichol) who commits several crimes to keep his loved ones safe.
The moral of the story is to live freely, only taking your own judgement into account – don’t let other people judge or dict the choices you make / made in your life.
Yesterday I went to the international tradeshow of “design at work” in Kortrijk (Belgium).
And I got the chance to see this little thingie. Impressive and quite so simple.
I really like the idea of traveling light – at your own ease, and staying in touch with nature.
I’m not sure what the reason is though, they forgot to include the price in the brochure …
A NEW AND FRESH EDITION“.
