Just finished a draft for a little webdesign project, like a bike.
I had to base most of my work on likeabike.de.
First you can see the splashpage, then the productpage …

A while ago we started looking for new faucets and showers to install in our new bathroom.
We immediately fell in love with the Dornbrachts showers (here underneath you can see one of the Rainsky Models).
But the dream fell apart when they told us the price …
Why ooh why :)…

Most faucets of Dornbracht are really nice - here you can see their eMote (works with an infrared module).

We chose these ones …

I’m fond of the work of this graffiti artist called Bue The Warrior (Ghent).
Most of the time I think it’s a bit twisted, but always very cute …
You can find more of his work in the Toykyo-shop in Ghent.

Just found out about this search engine.
http://www.quintura.com/
When you search on any particular word - you can see all words related on the left - and it’s not flash. It’s another way of searching, and for what I’ve searched, maybe even better than Google … Could it be?
Lately I’ve been searching for nice lighting.
There is so much choice - and it’s difficult to find the right lighting for a specific room.
Since we are still refurbishing our home, these are some of the lights I stumbled upon.
Dark (BE)
1) Crosslight
They are available in different colors and versions.
You have for instance a wall-version of this model, but I wasn’t so fond of that one.

2) D2V2
Truly nice. Also available in different colors and versions (hanging or standing).

Baulman (DE)
There are many LED lights available on the market for use in staircases, but most of them are not very minimal.
This one is, in my opinion.

Bover (ES)
For reading in bed. Very clean if you ask me.

That’s all for now …
Just installed Mac OS X Leopard on my laptop at Netlash and I’m damn happy about it.No need for a reinstall - I just put the cd in and clicked on ok twice or something - then - archive … and hupsakee. And untill now only Little Snitch broke … but I can live with that.
This will be my lecture for the weekend.
Thinking with type written by Ellen Lupton.

Just found out about this young, very interesting, beautiful woman, Ayo.
A soul funk singer - songwriter from Germany, with Nigerian - Romani roots.
It’s a soul, reggae-like sound … Love it!
You can read here biography here.

I’m thinking of buying her first album “Joyful”

The single of “down on my knees”.
Little improvisation on the French TV. Funny …
Ghost in the shell is a Japanese anime/manga with large cyberpunk influences created in the late 90’s by Masamune Shirow.
The story goes on in the future and tells us about Major Motoko Kusanagi who works for a special security organisation called Public Section 9 and leads a team of highly skilled cyborgs, androids and hybrids.
Up untill now there are 2 movies and 3 DVD boxes.
The movies are truly masterworks. In my opinion not only the drawings are terrific, but with the (mostly japanese) music included, it creates his own cold, scientific, computerized atmosphere.
The series (dvd’s) are less serious than the movies and most of the time quite funny. For instance you have the Tachikoma’s, spider type multi leg combat vehicle equipped with artificial intelligence. They are childish, funny and full of joy. On the other hand you have the major who is a cyborg with a full prosthetic body. I guess the illustrator wanted her to wear sexy outfits, because sometimes it’s hilarious to see what she wears while working on assignments.
Yesterday I watched the first series of 2nd DVD box. I enjoyed it as always …
Here you can find a slightly more detailed article about Ghost in the shell and its philosophy.

A little Youtube warming up …
I found this nice online web2.0 application (wishlistr.com) ages ago, but I forgot about it …
A way to organise your wishlist in this gifts-period to come (christmas | new year) - so everyone around you can keep track of what you really want :-). Isn’t that fantastic … ?
People can even subscribe to the rss of your wishlist :-).
Hehe, I just love it.
Check my very short wishlist….
